240Sweet stopped producing marshmallows in September 2018 when co-owners Alexa Lemley and Sam Aulick created a new company that has a line of sugar-free, low-carb and gluten-free dishes. Their business is called KetoLuxe and here is Alexa's description from their website about the business and how it came about. They decided to change their business and lifestyle after a Type 2 diabetes diagnosis for Sam. After adopting the Ketoluxe way of eating, they are down over 100 pounds. KetoLuxe offers products on their website and some products on Amazon. Here is the KetoLuxe Facebook page if you are interested.

Alexa and Sam decided to change the name of KetoLuxe to Low Carb Revolution and they have a Kickstarter campaign active in which they have raised almost $16,000 to date and it is 100% funded. They plan to expand their frozen food distribution with this money. Here is the Low Carb Revolution website and Facebook page. Besides products, Chef Alexa also offers coaching programs that range from $800 to $1,500.

In addition to this business, Alexa and Sam also have a catering business called Artisan Foodworks (website). They have negative reviews on Yelp, but some of them are from fans from The Profit.
Tonight on The Profit, Marcus Lemonis is in Las Vegas, Nevada to make a deal with Las Vegas Mini Grand Prix. Las Vegas Mini Grand Prix is a family fun center that has go-karting and an amusement park. When Marcus arrives, he likes the location but finds that the property is not being cared for. The owners also do not own the land where the business is located and the rent is causing liquidity issues.
Let's take a look at some information related to Las Vegas Mini Grand Prix as well as what kind of deal was made on the show.
Marcus wanted them to offer $3 million to buy the land and consolidate the outstanding debt. Marcus would either provide the $600,000 (20%) cash needed for a down payment or the financing for the full $3 million.

Tonight on The Profit, Marcus Lemonis is in Atlanta, Georgia to make a deal with Macaron Queen. Macaron Queen is a company in the Perimeter Mall that specializes in macarons and is owned by a mother-daughter team. The mother has health problems and the stress of the business is not helping her condition. Macaron Queen needs help to scale the business so it can become larger and more successful. Marcus will want them to become more focused on wholesale selling and online distribution of their products.

Let's take a look at some information related to Macaron Queen as well as what kind of deal was made on the show.

News and Links Related To The Company:

Here is the 7-minute opening video of the episode from the CNBC YouTube page.

I am sure there will be a lot of chatter with how Marcus Lemonis pronounces macaron. There will be the macaron vs. macaroon debate as they are different.

Here is the Macaron Queen website and Facebook page.

Macaron Queen has their kiosk at Perimeter Mall in Atlanta and they currently have 3 certified retailers in Georgia that sell their products.

Their website proudly displays a picture of Nina and Finia with a The Profit graphic on it.

Macarons are available for purchase on their website. The macarons average about $2.31 per macaron with 25 being $57.75 and 40 being $92.50. Shipping is extra.

That price point is similar to the macaron variety boxes for sale on Amazon. (Link)

The reviews for Macaron Queen on Yelp are positive with a 4 out of 5-star rating. (Link)

Nina Chteoui is also a real estate agent specializing in luxury listings. (Link)

Marcus Lemonis and Macaron Queen are tagging Weight Watchers (WW) on their social media, so look for them to show up in this episode.

In 2018, Marcus posted a picture of a macaron ice cream sandwich. Perhaps Macaron Queen and Mr. Green Tea will team up in the future. (Link)

The Deal From The Episode Plus Post-Show Updates (this will be updated continually):

The Deal - Marcus will invest in $100,000 increments for a total of $500,000. Each $100,000 increment would be for 10% of the business. Each increment would be based on achieving certain production levels without compromising quality. Macaron Queen could stop the investment at any point if the money was not needed.

The Macaron Queen website states, "For more information on opportunities for Franchise and Wholesale contact us at info@macaronqueen.com." So they are looking for franchisees and wholesale contracts.

Nina and Finia got somebody to take over their mall lease and they are now providing them with the wholesale macarons.

It seems that Macaron Queen has decided not to use a co-packer so far due to costs according to a few tweets during the show. (Link 1, Link 2)

UPDATE 4/2021 - Macaron Queen partnered with 1800Flowers.com and their macarons are available on their website. (Link)

Tonight on The Profit, Marcus Lemonis is in Los Angeles, California hoping to make a deal with Feat Socks. Feat Socks is a clothing company that specializes in unique socks that was started by Taylor Offer and Parker Burr. They have used social media to grow the company and major losses have brought the company to a standstill. While there, Marcus Lemonis is getting cold feet due to the arrogance of Taylor and Parker and hopes this doesn't prevent them from meeting their goals.

Let's take a look at some information related to Feat Socks as well as what kind of deal was made on the show.

News and Links Related To The Company:

Here is the Feat Socks website and Facebook page. Here is their Instagram that has 161k followers.

They currently sell socks, hoodies and hats.

In 2015, Feat Socks launched a Kickstarter campaign and that campaign ended up raising $27,784. (Link)

Feat Socks applied to be on Shark Tank in June 2016. (Link)

In June 2016, Feat Socks tweeted to Marcus Lemonis, "@marcuslemonis just sold some @FeatSocks to @InkkasWorldwear! Pumped to be working with you." Marcus responded, "Those are some cool socks." So it appears there was some type of relationship back in 2016. (Link)

There is a November 2017 Starter Story blog post written by founder Taylor Offer about Feat Socks which details a lot of information about the business.

He said they went from about 15 employees to 5 as they cut down on sales staff. He also said the main focus was to build their brand through social media.

When Olympic Gold Medalist Aly Raisman posted an Instagram picture in Feat Socks, their sales went from $20,000 a month to $200,000 a month and their Instagram following increased by 5 times.

When popular YouTuber Logan Paul featured Feat Socks on a few of his videos, that generated $500,000 in sales.

In September 2018 during the filming of The Profit, Marcus Lemonis challenged Feat Socks to sell 30,000 pairs of socks in a day. (Link)

A September 2018 Forbes article details some of the issues that Feat Socks has dealt with over the years such as the owners spending habits and some employees using the corporate card for personal expenses. (Link)

Feat Socks are available for sale on Amazon with a few different designs.

The Deal From The Episode Plus Post-Show Updates (this will be updated continually):

The Deal - Marcus did not invest in Feat Socks, but wanted to test out Parker and Taylor's marketing skills with a concept called Marcus Lemonis Community.

Marcus Lemonis Community was featured on this episode and here is the website which features Flex Watches (season 4), Everkin (season 6), Inkkas (season 3), and Ellison Eyewear (season 5) from The Profit. The About Us section states, "Community is a place for business owners who have appeared on the Profit as well as local entrepreneurs to come together for networking, funding, and access to Marcus Lemonis’ infrastructure. Our goal is to share expertise and resources in a collaborative environment to get even better at what we do best: planning and executing multi-channel campaigns."

Things obviously didn't work out and Parker and Taylor are not involved with Marcus Lemonis Community, which is why Feat Socks are not on the website. Something tells me they will not be silent after seeing the episode, so I will post any updates here if there are any.
